JN’s: Few Things Settled After Day 2 of 16 Open

Again, I don’t mean to short-change the 16 Open.

I could write through the night about how all over the place the division has been through the first two days, but a few facts to help you understand why the 16s are getting bullet points instead of a longer write up.

I got the Convention Center at 8:15 am Friday and walked out at 7:53 pm, having watched four consecutive challenge round matches in the 15 Open (3:30 pm, 4:30 pm, 5:30 pm and 6:30 pm).

It’s 11:36 pm as I am writing this, or more than 15 hours from when I first arrived at the Convention Center. Trust me, I’m not mentioning this for sympathy or to show how crazy the hours of covering a day like this really is.

I mention it because I truly feel bad for not being able to give more.

If you have been following throughout the season, you know I absolutely love the 16s and have made no secret it’s been my favorite and most exciting division. I don’t like to leave stuff out, because it’s been an amazing time so far and the division deserves more.
