Jenna Gray and Audriana Fitzmorris go together like Love and Marriage, like peanut butter and chocolate, like thunder and lightning.

They have been teammates for the past four years, both at the high school and club levels and will be continue to be for the next four, as both have signed with Stanford University. Together, the duo has won a club Open national championship – 16 Open when they were both freshmen playing for Asics MAVS – three Kansas 5A titles playing for St. James Academy and one PrepVolleyball.com national high school championship.

Other publications have endeavored to separate them. Gray, a 6-1 S/RS, was named Kansas Gatorade POY for 2015. Fitzmorris, a 6-6 MB, was American Family Insurance USA Today 2015 National Player of the Year.

At PrepVolleyball.com, we don’t have to. There is precedent for naming co-Players of the Year from the same team. We did it for the Rolfzen twins when they were freshmen and sophomores. Accordingly, we decree that Gray and Fitz share PrepVolleyball.com’s National (Senior) Player of the Year honors for 2015.
