Jenilee Rathje attended Michigan State, where she received her Bachelor of Arts in Marketing in December 2010 and Master of Science in Kinesiology (Sports Administration) in May 2012, and competed as a volleyball student-athlete from 2007-2011. Over the course of her career at MSU, she played as a middle-blocker and right side and outside attackers, and helped lead the team to three NCAA tournament appearances, including one Sweet Sixteen berth. She was recognized as MSU's female recipient of the Big Ten Sportsmanship Award, was awarded the Big Ten Medal of Honor, and was the ninth AVCA All-American and just the third Co-SIDA Academic All American in MSU history. Jenilee is now an Independent Distributor of AdvoCare, club administrator and coach at Michigan Elite Volleyball Academy, and an assistant varsity volleyball coach at Notre Dame Prep in the Metro Detroit area.
