Westminster Christian, however, did not have a front court presence like 6-2 lefty senior Erika Thomas.

Thomas proved to be the “X” factor, recording 14 kills and six blocks Wednesday night as The First Academy bested ECS, 25-15, 25-19, 20-25, 25-20, to claim its fourth consecutive state title.
