Before Excel NW could focus on closing the deal on Day 3 and qualifying at Crossroads, it had to get that far first.
Arriving in Denver signaled the beginning of Excel’s second trip to a national qualifier after participating at Northern Lights in January. However, the final day in Minneapolis wasn’t kind to Excel NW, which went 0-3 and finished in fourth place.
A respectable finish to be sure and yet equally painful. Excel NW missed earning a bid by one spot.
Ending strong in Colorado meant performing better on the last day. That much was obvious, yet Excel NW had little wiggle room if it hoped to still be alive.
