AAU 17 Open: Mintonette Captures the Crown

Four days of intense 17 Open competition have come to a close in Orlando at the AAU National Championships. When the AAU tournament is over by the weekend in each of the divisions, we will have the chance to breathe a little bit and dive into the details of how the final day in the division allowed for the champion, Mintonette Sports m.71, to be crowned at Disney's ESPN Wide World of Sports.

For now, here’s a taste of what happened on Championship Monday in Orlando…

On the final day, 12 teams remained and the top four seeds in the tournament by that time earned a bye to play the 10 o’clock match.
