AAU 18s: Challenge Matches Narrow 18 Open to Four
FacebookTwitterEmailPrint

The second day at AAU 18s Nationals was a big separator in the 18s division. The 18 Open division cut its Gold contenders from 12 to four while 18 Premier went from 15 to eight.

In 18 Open, the four teams left will medal in a tie for Bronze, or compete in the final for Gold. Just two more matches stand in the way until the AAU 18 Open National Champion is determined.

In the four three-team pools, teams just needed to win one of its matches and land in the top two. From there, teams had to win a Challenge match in order to advance.
