AAU Club Divisions: Gainesville Juniors Going for Three-Peat at AAU (Day 1)
FacebookTwitterEmailPrint

ORLANDO – When members of the Gainesville Juniors 15 Elite volleyball team got a glimpse of the nationals schedule this summer, they almost decided to not make the trip to the AAU Championships. There is only a few days’ break between AAU and USA Nationals. But one thing changed their mind: a chance for a three-peat.

Seeded third in the 15 Premier division, the Gainesville Juniors won it all in the 13 Premier division in 2017 and the 14 Premier division in 2018. They are on track for another championship run after going 3-0 on the first day of the 46th annual AAU Volleyball Junior National Championships Friday at the Orange County Convention and Disney’s ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex.
