There are 82 teams entered in 15 Premier to play a tournament that will be conducted over four days, down from 102 last summer. Pool play is the order of the first three days. On Day 1, the goal is to excise from contention only the fourth-place teams in each pool. On Day 2, only the first and second-place finishers move on to Day 3 with a chance to medal. The field will cut in half on Day 3. From there, first and second-place teams may or may not advance to challenge rounds. The winners of the challenge rounds make the gold bracket, or if no challenge rounds, first and second-place teams in the third round of pool play will make the gold bracket.
