AAUs 17 Open: Day 3 Sets Up The Hardware Hunt
FacebookTwitterEmailPrint

AAU Nationals' final day in 17 Open is set with 12 teams who have made it to the fourth round of the Gold division. Through the six pools on Day 3, the top two teams in each advanced. Three of the four highest seeded teams in the tournament have earned a bye and remain undefeated – Top Select 17 Elite Blake, Mintonette m.71, and Legacy 17 Elite – while the eighth seed Asics Munciana Pandas lost two matches on Day 1 but has since stayed unblemished. Asics KIVA 17 Red is the only other who hasn’t lost a match but will play the 8 AM match.

In our 17 Open preview, we chose half of the teams who would advance correctly and the teams we picked in the final, Top Select and Mintonette, are the only two teams without a set loss thus far.
