ORLANDO – The pace was frenetic and emotions were high on Sunday as club teams made a mad dash to get into the championship round of the 46th annual AAU Volleyball Junior National Championships.

Scores of athletes on teams from coast to coast put forth determined efforts during the third round of pool play and subsequent crossover and challenge round matches. At stake were bids to Monday’s championship rounds, which will be held at both the Orange County Convention Center and Disney’s ESPN Wide World of Sports.

The afternoon and late-night drama left some athletes jumping for joy and others in tears as the four-day tournament winds to a close. Teams that didn’t make the championship round will compete in other final-day brackets.

Without further ado, here are some of the players who turned in stellar efforts in the 15 and 17 Club and Premier divisions:
