FacebookTwitterEmailPrint

Tying for fifth in 16 Open at both AAUs and Junior Nationals and returning the large majority of the roster – including right side Ada Jane Agolli, middle Phoebe Awoleye and outside Savannah Bray – no doubt A5 Mizuno 171 Jing came in to 2019 not only expecting to compete with but beat the very best in the nation.

After a slower-than-expected start to the season, A5 appears back on track after sweeping MKE Sting 17 Gold, 25-21, 25-18, in the 17 Open championship match at the Ultra Ankle Bluegrass Tournament in Louisville this past weekend. The victory completed an undefeated run for A5, which went 7-0 and dropped just one set. It came to AVC Clev Rox 17 Meredith in the semis, 21-25, 25-19, 15-4.
