Catching Up On The Qualifying Frenzy

Nearly 3,000 miles apart and somewhere in between, teams were vying for the same thing this past weekend.

It might have been hard to believe, but the Pacific Northwest and Disney Showcase qualifiers, along with the Mideast, were the first qualifiers since Crossroads for ages 15-17 to earn a shot at a bid.

With five weeks to go in the qualifying season, there aren’t many options left unless teams want to go through a taxing schedule and/or skip out on local power leagues. Getting a bid this past weekend would eliminate a huge load and those teams qualifying could start focusing on Junior Nationals this season.

Who would they be?
