Class Of 2023 Club Watch List: Middle Blockers

It’s Middle Blocker Day For Our Class Of 2023 Club Watch List!

We are very excited to continue our Club Watch List series with the first part of the Class of 2023 Watch List for the 2021 club season! This list is compiled of well-known players within their age group and those who may not yet have had the opportunity to shine on their high school teams since they were playing or will be playing alongside and against players above their age. How did we compile this list, you ask? We used independent research and asked coaches to nominate players from outside their own clubs that impressed them in competition. Players are listed by their primary positions, then alphabetically by first name. So if a player is listed as multiple positions, they can be found under the primary position submitted by the coach who nominated them or by our selection.

The list will be released daily by position, and today we’ve got Middle Blockers: Blocking from pin to pin, these towering terrors of the volleyball world have one goal: to SHUT. YOU. DOWN. They're mean, they're lean, and they're dangerous on both sides of the ball.

IMPORTANT NOTE: This is NOT a ranking by any means. It is simply a list of players who have the potential and skills to become elite-level athletes and that PrepVB, spectators, and the coaches who nominated them alike should keep an eye on in the years to come. So, there’s no need to be up in arms if a player is left off the list. It holds absolutely no representation of their self-worth as an athlete or a person. Please ONLY reach out to us if there is a discrepancy with positions, names, club teams, or heights. You can email Jimmy Pompeo at You can also comment with other players you believe should be included, or that we should watch. Think someone is missing? Remember, this is a watch list, mainly for those athletes that may have yet to be seen. You might want to check on our Class of 2023 Top 150 Players list before sending us an email or commenting.

Without further ado, we give you the Middle Blockers of the Class of 2023 Watch List. Thank you to all those coaches that helped us curate this year’s list.
