INDIANAPOLIS – It is often said that change is good for the soul, and that adage perfectly personifies the Pittsburgh Elite 16 volleyball team right now.

Rocked by losses, injuries and coaching changes all season long, the Pittsburgh squad may have finally found some stability in new head coach Angela Seman, a former Pitt star who recently led the Panthers to their second consecutive ACC championship and an NCAA tournament berth.  Making her club coaching debut, she led Pgh Elite to a 3-0 record in pool play of 16 USA on Friday’s opening day of the 2019 Nike Mideast Qualifier.
