Last weekend, two USAV National-qualifying events gave the 15s age division the first taste of the qualifier season – the Sunshine Classic and Colorado Crossroads. With the excitement that comes with the chance to earn one of the first bids of the year, there is the downside, too – no trickle down.

At Crossroads, the top three finishers earned bids in the 15 Open division as No. 13 Dynasty 15 Black won Gold. No. 14 Aspire 15 UA and Hive 15 Gold also qualified. MAVS 816 15-1 won the 95-team 15 USA field, a division that also doled out three bids, and Attack 15 Royal won 11 matches to claim Gold and became the only bid-winner in 15 American.
