We’ve briefly written about the finale of the 15 Open at the Colorado Crossroads Qualifier, here. Premier Nebraska 15 Gold came up victorious not only for its second major tournament win this weekend (it won Gold in Kansas City at the Triple Crown NIT last month). Its name is again written in the Crossroads record books for the second year in a row after winning the event in 14 Open.

“I don’t think I can put it into words what this team does,” said Premier coach Shannon Smolinski. “Their heart, their fight, their grit. They just have a will to win and when people doubt them that’s typically when they’re at their best. It’s not a surprise to me of where they are because they truly work for it and they earned it.”
