FacebookTwitterEmailPrint

The challenge matches pushed well past the evening and into nighttime as Day 2 wound down at this year’s version of the USAV Girls Junior National Championships in Dallas.

The biggest news of the day centered around No. 19 Coast 18-1 sweeping past and upsetting top-ranked Legacy 18-Elite, 25-22, 25-23, to reach the gold bracket. Legacy entered this weekend’s national championships having claimed gold at all six tournaments it played so far this season. Only four teams have beat Legacy all year – Arizona Storm Elite 18 Thunder, Momentous 18-Dan, FC Elite 18 Navy and Coast. The last two came over the past two days.
