INDIANAPOLIS – The Lions 15 Red volleyball team is celebrating in more ways than one these days at the USA Volleyball Girls Junior National Championships.

The Lions have simply roared through the first two days of pool play, going 5-0 and taking over the top seed in Pool 4 of the 15 National Division. Along the way, the Chicago-based squad toppled fourth-seeded MDJRS 15 Elite-Black, which entered the four-day event as the No. 4 overall seed and the top seed in the pool.

The fast start has made the game that much sweeter for the Lions, who are celebrating their 25th anniversary with a record 14 USA Volleyball qualifying teams.
