Making History: Samantha Killane's Journey Becoming D'Youville College's First Division II Commit

In Early March, D'YouVille College in Buffalo, New York, made the jump from NCAA Division III to Division II. One volleyball player made history alongside the college, Samantha Killane. Killane is the first athlete to sign a letter of intent in school history to commit as a DII athlete. We had the chance to speak with Ms. Killane about her recruiting journey and what it means to be the Saints' first DII signee after changing divisions, mascots, and coaches.
