NCAA Extends Division I Dead Period Through June 30
FacebookTwitterEmailPrint

The NCAA released a statement to extend the Division I dead period through June 30th due to COVID-19. Previously, the dead period was to be until May 31st.

The Division I Council Coordination Committee announced Wednesday evening the new date with the intention of reevaluating the date on May 27th with the possibility of extending it further. A dead period means that an NCAA coach may not have face-to-face contact with a Prospective Student Athlete (PSA) on their institution’s campus or elsewhere.
