Proposed NCAA Recruiting Rules for April Vote
FacebookTwitterEmailPrint

There are a few new NCAA Division I recruiting rules that have been finalized on February 8th and have been proposed to be voted on at the April 2019 NCAA Division I Council meeting. If passed, the nine rules below will be effective immediately. In preparation, we believe we should go over them because the rules may have some effect on younger recruits and summer plans.

This proposal is another step to encourage the college process to begin after June 15 of a prospective student-athlete's (PSA) sophomore year in high school... well, that's the hope. She can visit a school without contact with the coaches before then and begin her research - or not. Of course, a DI college coach can still watch her play at any age (for now).
