We called almost all of it in our preview: Both previously-qualified teams Dallas and Houston Skyline 18 Royal would finish at the top in Gold on the final day (check, check!), prompting the trickle-down to go to the fifth-place team (check!). We also said that COAST 18-1 (check!) and Summit 18 Nike Blue (check!) would earn bids… but we missed the third one. That final bid went to the third-place finisher, AZ REV 18 Adidas (seen in feature photo).

By the end of the day on Saturday, two of the bid-winners had been set. Since the two Skylines, Houston and Dallas, were in the final Gold pool, the other two, AZ REV and Summit, had earned a bid, too. The fifth-place finisher would earn the bid which meant that a team had to go undefeated on Sunday and win its division, Flight 1.
