Recruiting Dish: Class Of 2022 Standout Gaining Attention

To share or not to share? That was the question as PVB stumbled across a recent Class of 2022 recruit. Yes, we said, gulp, Class of 2022!

Millie Muir is already garnering attention playing up two age groups for Encore 15 Navy.

Conflicted.

There is no other way to say it.

That’s how I feel about this week’s Recruiting Dish.

It’s important to note we actively cover the age groups 15s-18s. If someone like a Melani Shaffmaster, who was an eighth-grader on Muciana 15 Lorax last year, is playing up then we can’t ignore her and act like she’s not on the roster. But it’s not like John Tawa or myself scours the 14s divisions looking for the next ‘talent.’

How about a 8th Grader playing up on a 17’s team that can supposedly touch over 10 feet! Her name is Kamerynn Miner and is a setter for Volleycats Elite VBC Cougars Elite 17’s. The last name may sound familiar, her father Harold Miner former NBA could jump out of the gym.

I believe John Tawa mentioned her earlier this year.
