Arizona Storm Elite 18 Thunder was a last-second entry into the SCVA 18s qualifier, unable to keep its original plans of attending Crossroads in Denver because of the storm that wreaked havoc on travel earlier this week.

With A4 Volley 18 Purple out of contention on Day 1 and Coast 18-1 following suite on Day 2, Storm is the lone remaining team in the top eight with an 18 Open bid to Junior Nationals and the only squad in the 29-team field without a loss through Friday and Saturday’s competition.
