Athletes burned up the floor with some dramatic and thrilling play on the final day of the Sunshine Volleyball Classic, allowing numerous teams to clinch bids to this summer’s USAV Nationals.

In the Open division, only one original No. 1 seed – Legacy 15-1 Adidas out of Detroit, Michigan – went the distance and captured a title. Stellar individual performances helped an array of teams record stunning upsets and surge into the Gold medal pools and championship brackets on the third and final day of the USAV qualifier.

Below are some highlights from the Sunshine Classic held on a chilly weekend at the Orange County Convention Center.
