Illini Elite 18s' Lauren Rokey (27) was one player that caught our attention during the first day of the NJC.
For the most part, it was a quiet opening day to the Sports Performance National Junior Classic.
Just because there weren’t major upsets, doesn’t mean some individual efforts went unnoticed.
Quite the contrary.
Below, I break down the top players I saw on Day 1 in to two categories: (1) Supernovas – those players who shined the brightest; and (2) Others Who Shined – those who also distinguished themselves with standout play:
