Losing its first outing of the weekend against TAV 16 Black, Tstreet 16-1 coach Mike Murphy was hoping to get another crack at them later in the weekend, preferably in the final. 

Murphy and Tstreet eventually earned their rematch, just not the one they were seeking. While a chance at avenging the loss to TAV will have to wait until the next time the teams cross paths, Tstreet didn’t drop another match and left the Triple Crown Sports NIT in Kansas City with the gold medal after dispatching A5 Mizuno 16-1 Gabe in the 16s Elite championship match in straight sets, 29-27, 25-14.
