If you read our 18 Open Preview and Predictions regarding this weekend’s Triple Crown Sports Pre-Season NIT in Salt Lake City, then there’s not really a need to rehash why the anticipation for the event is off the charts.

There’s the format – power pools on Day 1 where elite competition faces elite competition without fear of being eliminated – that delivers from first serve because of the depth of the field.

With so many nationally-recognizable clubs competing, the action hits quickly and never stops through the championship meetings. In fact, over half the field is ranked in PVB’s Pre-Season Rankings in the division below, including eight of the Top 10.
