The Triple Crown Sports Pre-Season NIT starts Saturday in Salt Lake City.

Last year, the tournament designers reformulated the entire set up, from the idea of the event to the format and it was a success from top to bottom.

Expect bigger things this year, when last year’s cast (TAV, Skyline, Coast, Munciana, KiVA, K2) is joined by an influx of top competition (Top Select, Encore, OTVA, A4, Sky High, Milwauke Sting, San Gabriel) for early-season bragging rights.

The best part is the design of the eight-team power pools, placing the nation’s top teams against one another in an opening-day extravaganza. None of these clubs are eliminated despite the results. It makes for a great day of competition, and sets the stage for the start of bracket play on Day 2. It leads up to the semifinals and final, which take place Monday. is making the trek to be part of the excitement.

We originally released the 18 Open preview Monday. Below, we've updated it with the new 18s Rankings, plus Top 50 Juniors and other committed underclassmen in the field.
