Triple Crown NIT: 18s Preview and Prediction

This coming Saturday, the most anticipated tournament of the regular season commences in Kansas City. It’s known as the Triple Crown Sports NIT and it promises to deliver once again. How could it not with many of the top teams in the nation going at it?

Below, we take a look at the 18s Division. It features three, eight-team power pools plus 20, four-team pools. The power pools are playing for seeding only (Power Pool A 1-8, B 9-16, C 17-24) on Day 1, while the rest are playing to advance to bracket play by coming in first or second. Bracket play starts on Day 2 and features a 64-team gold bracket that is single-elimination. This is the first of four age division previews this week, with the 17s out Tuesday, the 16s out Wednesday and the 15s out Thursday. PrepVolleyball.com is also attending the event and will provide daily coverage plus additional post-event coverage as well.
