Virtually Committed – Solutions to Closed College Campuses

Dahlia Miller (Dawson/HJV) recently committed to Murray State and has yet to step on campus.

With college campuses closed to students, staff, and visitors, many recruiters are encouraging Prospective Student-Athletes (PSAs) to go online to check out what their universities have to offer. Virtual tours are becoming vastly more popular, taking the place of unofficial visits.

We see this as a temporary solution to the COVID-19 pandemic lockdowns, but for uncommitted PSAs, that’s all they have, indefinitely, and it’s an immediate solution – sometimes the only one – for those not yet signed in the class of 2020.

Dahlia Miller, a 5-7 senior DS/libero from Dawson HS in Texas and HJV 18 Elite, recently committed to Murray State University without ever stepping on campus.
