The 18s division kicked off its qualifier season over the weekend in Omaha at the January Thaw, or Northern Lights 18s Qualifier. We recapped what happened in 18 Open, here. Here’s what happened in 18 USA and 18 American…

Nebraska Elite 18 Yang won 18 American without a match loss and was the only team in any of the 18s division to do so. It beat Summit VBC 18-1 in the final (25-16, 18-25, 15-7). Nebraska Elite declined the only bid in the division and runner-up Summit stepped up to punch its ticket to Dallas.

MN Select 18-2 earned a bid in 18 USA as its 18-1 team did so in 18 Open at the same event. Select finished second to 303 VBA 18 Alpha.
