When Junior Nationals convene in Reno in June, I’ll be looking for reporters to cover other divisions when 16 Open is taking place. Because, simply put, it promises to be the best tournament of the year and perhaps the best in any division in any year since I started covering volleyball 10 years ago. Take a look at the rankings below. There are a baker’s dozen of teams that clearly belong in the top five nationally and 30 or more that would fit comfortably into the top 10 in other years. This is just an extraordinary group, one that you want to watch and watch and watch.
