It's our first crack at ranking the 14's age group, something we haven't done in years past. However, we understand how early it is to rank teams and players. So we're keeping the first edition a little more loose and less critical. These are truly meant for fun and to celebrate those teams that have been kicking butt for their respective age group.
A quick reminder, we are releasing these rankings prior to any major events, and based on rankings from 2021, taking into account post-ranking event finishes, including USAV and AAU National Championship tournaments. For now, let's celebrate the soon-arriving club season action, and be sure to keep an eye out for Inside the Power 30 for a deeper dive into the rankings, when qualifying play begins.
Also, coaches and clubs that wish to be considered for the rankings may fill out this information form, if you have not done so already.
Remember, this is just a preseason ranking, a chance to create a little excitement, celebration, fun, and speculation. When qualifiers begin, things will likely look much different, and we'll do our best to rank them numerically. But, today we're just listing the top 30 in no qualitative order with ten more teams that could bump up throughout the season to follow.
