College: With Tournament Nearing, Making Sense of the Automatics

Before the NCAA Division I selection committee announces the 64-team bracket on Sunday, Nov. 25, one team from each of the 32 conferences will know officially that it is in the field, either by winning a conference’s regular-season title or a conference post-season tournament. Let’s look at how each of the conferences picks its champion, when champions will be determined and which team will likely emerge from each conference with the coveted automatic bid.
