Only six of the ranked teams from last week’s Top 25 suffered losses.

It didn’t make for very much movement.

The highest-ranked team to fall was No. 4 Winona State, which was defeated by No. 2 Minnesota-Duluth for the second time this season.

Angelo State, at No. 8 last week, was the highest-ranked team to get upset, falling to unranked Eastern New Mexico.

Central Oklahoma, last week’s No. 14, had a mini-upset loss against No. 16 Washburn, so those programs flipped places in this week’s Top 25.

Northern State was one of two Top 25 teams to lose twice last week, but both came against highly-ranked opponents in No. 5 Augustana and No. 6 Wayne State. Those are quality losses and didn’t hurt Northern State’s standing.

The same can’t be said for either Colorado School of Mines or Colorade Mesa. Mines was upset by unranked Colorado Christian. Mesa, meanwhile, was the other Top-25 squad to fall twice. One came to ranked Metro State, but the other was against unranked Regis.
