This week’s Composite Poll remained static at the very top.
However, Nebraska’s perfect average is no more.
After two weeks in a row holding a 1.0 average, the Huskers slipped to 1.4 this week but still lead No. 2 Minnesota by a full point. Wisconsin, at No. 3, is right behind the Gophers and trails by 0.2 points. It opens up after that.
Texas is fourth at 4.6, while San Diego is sixth at 7.2.
Kansas and Stanford keep climbing, as both inched up the Top 10 again. Penn State is back in the Top 10, while UCLA fell out. Washington fell down some but remains in the Top 10. Oregon, meanwhile, cracks the Top 15 this week.
And after two consecutive weeks where there was no change among the Top 25 teams, this week two teams fell out and three new ones replaced them. How is that possible?
We have a tie for No. 25, between USC and Kentucky. But they were in the Top 25 last week. Falling out were Washington State and Ohio State. Coming in is Arizona, Missouri and Western Kentucky.
