College: PVB’s Top 50 Rankings (Sept. 18)

LMU breaks into the Top 50 for the first time this season.

Most of the teams in the Top 10 had uneventful weekends.

Therefore, there was no movement with the first eight teams this week.

After that, it became somewhat of a train wreck. Ninth-ranked Nebraska, No. 10 Creighton and No. 11 Kansas all suffered upset losses. That made for some tough choices this week. BYU climbed after knocking off Utah, while LMU made the Top 50 for the first time this season after beating North Carolina and Duke.
