COLLEGE: The 64 We Think Will Play For Minneapolis

We project a second consecutive trip to the tournament for the LSU Tigers

The start of the NCAA Division volleyball season is still three weeks away, but it is never too early to start talking about what all 330 of the Division I teams are striving for: first, a berth in the tournament field of 64, which will be announced on Nov. 25; and, ultimately, a spot in the national semifinals in Minneapolis in mid-December.

Below, PrepVolleyball.com takes its first crack at projecting the tournament field, including the “Last Four In,” “First Four Out,” semifinalists and projected national champion. PrepVolleyball.com will revise its projections every two weeks during the season.

I agree with you about BYU making it to the final four…especially if Taylen Ballard is healthy and lives up to her potential. Gneiting is an absolute stud, and all the other pieces are in place.
