Day 3 started with 24 teams with the ultimate goal of becoming one of the top eight with the hope of a National Championship. Coaches refocused their teams and discussed themes of teamwork, intensity, and putting themselves in the position to win it all. TAV's Coach Laura Alford said it best when she said her team is simply playing for the love of the game. The top two teams from eight separate pools played in challenge matches in the afternoon to eventually determine the top eight. Interestingly, three Ohio teams made it to challenge matches: Cincy Classics, Blackswamp, and TVC. The winners of challenge matches A through H will play on day four to determine the 17 National Champion.
