Court Report (Oct. 16): Honoring Seniors

This week, we have plenty of volleyball news to share
including some milestones that have defeated the odds. And, we also wanted to
honor the seniors who have had so much uncertainty and have gone through so
much to get to this point, to actually play a season! We asked coaches to send
in highlights about their Senior Nights and the players that have made a mark
on their programs.

If you have relevant news and/or milestones to share,
please send it to me at SGreen@prepvolleyball.com.

Copper Hills has had five players on
quarantine directives over the past few weeks – its starting libero, both
starting MBs, one starting OH, and a DS! Still, the season must go on. The
Grizzlies had five matches during that time and they went 5-0, dropping just
one set. Coach Silver Fonua said, “We shuffled our players around and pulled three
players from JV. It was a challenge to adapt but our girls did well.” The team
had everyone back on October 8th against Bingham.
