However, today, we're starting the weekend on a somber note, as the volleyball community mourns the loss of former Sunshine Volleyball standout Daina 'Gucci' Monroe. Monroe was the victim of a drive-by shooting in Inglewood, California on October 18. Described as a 'bright light with an infectious spirit,' she was loved by family, friends, and teammates alike. The PrepVolleyball.com staff offers our deepest sympathies and condolences for her family. A Go-Fund-Me has been started for the Monroes. Donations can be made here.
