On Wednesday, the 2019 Midseason ALL-USA Volleyball Player of the Year candidates were announced. We at PrepVolleyball.com assisted USA TODAY High School Sports in choosing the five players named to the shortlist of elite athletes who have proven to have had exceptional performances through the first half of the high school season.  

With a month (or more) of volleyball to be played in some states, this list is not the end all-be all; another player not listed could still emerge as the 2019 ALL-USA Girls Volleyball Player of the Year, which is awarded in December.
