On Monday No. 88 Flower Mound (39-7) punched its first ticket to the Regional semifinal game by defeating the No. 2 team in the Nation, Byron Nelson (42-2), a top-ranked team in the state of Texas. With Byron Nelson out of State title contention, Flower Mound is now one of four teams left in the difficult Class 6A, Region I division.

“You let yourself enjoy it for about 12 hours,” said Jags first-year Head Coach Jamie Siegel. “Then it’s back to watching film and after their fourth-period class we’ll be back on the hardwood at practice focusing on the next game.”
