After one of the most challenging years in recent history, high school volleyball is back, synchronized, in person, and ready for a fresh season. The blue chips, the underdogs, and the sleepers have a new opportunity to prove that they belong in the conversation as some of the best high school programs in the country. We’ll be evaluating and ranking the nation’s top 50 teams week to week throughout the season as they compete for the local, regional, and national spotlight.

This week, we will be catching up with the Top 5 programs from last fall’s Power 25 rankings, previewing their upcoming seasons, and or recapping the work they’ve already put in to start the 2021 campaign. As with our final Power ranking from last season, please bear in mind that 2020’s asynchronous scheduling provided significant challenges to include many incredibly talented programs from our rankings. We are so appreciative of the opportunity to cover this game, and we appreciate everyone’s patience as we get back to our full brand of coverage for the fall.
