Top Contenders Fall on Day 2 at JTC

Clemens sparks momentum at JTC and plays for Gold on Day 3

Day 2 action quickly heated up at the John Turner Classic (JTC) and three teams with targets on their backs – and the one- and two-seeds overall in the tournament – are out of Gold contention.

Southlake Carroll can finish no higher than ninth place, and Hebron has the chance to win 17th. That’s a stark difference from 2017 ’s tournament when the teams finished seventh and second, respectively. SA Reagan, the reigning JTC champions, fell in its first match of the day to also compete for 17th. Do I smell a possible 2017 JTC Final rematch?
