The USAV Girls Youth National Team (GYNT) made history this week as it became the first USA age-group team to earn a gold medal in a World Championship event, on either the boys’ or girls’ side of the game. The USA GYNT, led by coach Jim Stone, went 7-1 to claim the title at the FIVB Girls’ U18 World Championship on Saturday in Ismailia, Egypt.
