One loss and down 30 spots? Ridiculous opinion. #tvhs

Take a good look at the talent on the Mortimer Jordan High School Varsity Volleyball Team. Jefferson County Alabama. Some overlooked supernovas have slipped past the rankings committee. All are welcome to come express a completely honest opinion the only opinion acceptable. Just take a look and tell us what you think. Tell us what you in reality think. We’re very sure of who we are and all we can do. Politics are sadly a part of the dynamic but you can’t have it both ways!!! Please the parents or win. Time to choose! What to do with this problem if anyone knows please tell me. Courage isn’t the lack of fear but the determination to act anyway.

One loss to a very good but unranked team that finished 21st at the Durango Fall Classic when your resume includes just one match against a top 100 team, a win over Poly. 30 spots is appropriate. The good news is that a strong showing at Torrey Pines this weekend can jump TVHS back into the top 10 potentially. Of course, if the Golden Bears, who needed to rally from down two sets to one to defeat Murrieta Valley their match before the loss, stumble in San Diego, they could find themselves out of the rankings altogether.

As for Jordan, Jordan is ranked seventh in Alabama’s Class 5A at 16-10. Alabama has seven classes. This is not a Top 100 team…

Can’t follow the logic of leaving Walton #1.

Based on opinions expressed above OTVA 15 Rox Red should have stayed on top of end of year club rankings. Won 4 out of state tournament (triple crown, lights, big south, blue grass). Won 11 of 12 tournaments.

Need to be consistent in your evaluations.

Issue for me is who has stronger claim. Two years ago, a Florida team that won AAUs but lost at USAV was No. 1 in our final rankings. They had the stronger claim. Last year, TAV was a VERY strong team that won the last tournament.

Walton hasn’t played its last match. It still has its state tournament. While you cannot win the national title without winning a state title, you can lose at a tournament and still win. EVERY team in our top 32 would fall into that category.
