National HS Rankings’s Top 100 National HS Rankings (Sept. 27)

With Assumption of Kentucky retaining the No. 1 spot for the second week in a row, we’ll have to look elsewhere for movement this week. But not far.

There was a minor shake up in the Top 5, as Byron Nelson of Texas takes over the No. 2 spot from Mater Dei of California, which is now No. 3. Two more teams fell out of the Top 10, creating some more changes. But unlike last week, no teams that were in the Top 50 previously fell out of the rankings altogether. That’s not to say we don’t have any new schools joining the party this week.

Looking at the Top 100 as a whole, 12 teams enter that were not included in last week’s rankings. They are as follows:

  • Bishop Gorman (Nevada)
  • Castle (Indiana)
  • Duchesne (Nebraska)
  • Edmond Santa Fe (Oklahoma)
  • La Cueva (New Mexico)
  • McKinney (Texas)
  • Mililani (Hawaii)
  • Millard West (Nebraska)
  • Mount Carmel (Louisiana)
  • Pickens (South Carolina)
  • Scottsdale Christian Academy (Arizona)
  • Westlake (California)’s National HS Rankings (Top 100 plus Honorable Mentions)
